With construction complete and the final details in place, 108 Bucks Lane is now under contract.

We’ve shared a few finished images already, but there is still much more of this home to show. The full video tour is on the way, with a closer look at the kitchen, living spaces, primary suite, material selections, and some of the design decisions that shaped the finished home.

A few more glimpses from this South Texas custom home—before we release the full tour.

From the reclaimed timber framing and stonework, to the herringbone brick flooring, to the custom kitchen and more distinctive secondary rooms, this project was designed with a great deal of character.

And there is still much more to show.

After following this home through construction, we’re finally able to show the finished result.

Throughout 108, the goal was to create a home with warmth and character while keeping the overall design clean and comfortable for everyday living.

One of the defining ideas behind this custom home was the use of authentic reclaimed wood throughout the design. Timbers dating back to the 1800s were sourced from Ontario and Pennsylvania, then carefully selected and positioned so their age, texture, and character could remain visible in the finished home.

That material carries throughout the house in beams, bracing, ceiling details, and other architectural accents—giving the home a sense of warmth and history that has been part of the vision from the beginning.

Stone installation is underway across the front elevation.

843 Shady Grove has reached one of those stages where the home is about to change very quickly.

Sheetrock is complete, tape and float is finished, and the rooms are now fully defined.
From here, the focus begins shifting toward the finishes that will give the home its individual character. Interior paint is coming soon, while selections for the next layers of the home are underway.

Day one at 845 Shady Grove.

Early in the morning, we began preparing the site for another new home.
Before forms are set, concrete is poured, or walls begin to rise, the property itself has to be prepared. Today that means grading the homesite.

At this stage, there isn’t much of a house to see yet.
But this is where the build begins.
Over the coming months, we’ll follow 845 Shady Grove from this open piece of ground through foundation, framing, mechanicals, finishes, and eventually a completed home.

Several pieces are coming together at once at 841 Shady Grove.

The exterior masonry is now complete, giving the home much more of its finished character, while flooring is underway throughout the interior.

And this morning the cabinets arrived.
This is one of those stages where progress begins to move quickly. The larger construction phases are behind us, and each new layer starts defining what the individual rooms will actually feel like.

What began as a design concept eventually became a completed custom home shaped through selections, collaboration, and many decisions along the way.

The exterior comparison is simple, but it represents a much longer process—planning, refining, building, and carrying the original vision through to the final result.
