Before the shell goes in, every supply and return line gets routed and tied off first — main drains, skimmer lines, the works. This pool features the PCC2000 In-floor Cleaning System by Paramount. There is no room for error with these systems. Plumbing lines and pop-ups must be precise, per plan, and sized accordingly.

PebbleQuartz delivers the smooth, uniform look of plaster with added strength. Made with silica-based aggregate, it offers greater durability than traditional marble-based quartz finishes.

When updating a backyard, the goal is to make the new design feel like a natural extension of the home. Neutral hardscaping complements traditional architecture while giving the pool and patio a fresh, modern look.

The cooler months are an ideal time to plan a remodel, so the work can be completed before pool season and you can enjoy the warmer months without missing a day in the water.

Some backyards get a view. This one gets the whole city. A curved vanishing-edge pool, a raised spa tucked right at the rail, and turf that runs straight to the edge of the hill — built to make the most of a site most people would call impossible to build on.

New project. Ground broken, forming completed, and the steel cage taking shape. Every pool starts as a "hole" with rebar in it — this is that stage.

Every build starts here — on paper, long before ground breaks. Pool, spa, a pergola, an outdoor kitchen, and a mounted TV for game days, all mapped against the site's natural backdrop. Over the next several weeks we're following this one from first sketch to move-in day.

There's something a still photo can't quite capture — watching this water feature actually run, the whole wall lit gold in the last light of the day. A little motion says it better than a photo can.

Modern swimming pool designs are moving toward rich textures, dynamic light play, and bold color palettes.

Glass pool tile brings these elements together, with iridescent finishes that reflect sunlight and create shifting patterns across the water. From subtle shimmer to striking color, tile offers another way to make a pool feel uniquely your own.

Materials: PebbleSheen Blue Surf, Lightstreams Glass Tile.
