Need a chance to make some extra money? I have a solution that doesn’t take much besides thinking of me and Sledge Remodeling!

Servicing Boise ID area and within a one hour driving distance. I am making this post public so I am asking for only people within this radius!

Interest rates be booming! The wrong freaking way again. This is what tanked my business a few years ago. I cannot and will not let it get me this time.
The industry I’m in never really bounced back to what it was like before interest rates skyrocketed last time, but I’ve been staying busy. Very busy actually. I just have not been getting the 30-40k remodels I used to consistently get. What I have been getting is a lot of bathroom renovations ranging from 5k-13k. I will never complain about those jobs and take them all day long. The profit margin on a 10k bathroom remodel is typically between 3-4k. So I need 2-3 a month to just survive. This business is tough and this business is unforgiving. I think that I had a Very good couple year run with those large jobs when everyone’s house value literally doubled. People were refinancing and taking out renovation loans left and right to finally get that dream kitchen. Or dream bathroom. I am going to have to get creative if I have any chance at surviving this again.

That being said I’d like to start doing something I used to do when I was a young and hungry new business owner.
I am going to start offering a referral fee to ANYONE that brings me a job. I am going to start that fee at 10%. It will NOT go up from there. As I said earlier my margins are typically 30-40 percent. So I am taking that 10 percent directly out of my pocket to pay for referrals. I am going to try this at 10 percent to get people (YOU!) thinking about me when you see someone needing a contractor. I will most likely bring that down to 5% after I book some new jobs as 10 percent is hard to sustain. But I want to engage with my Facebook group more, get you guys involved as well as offer a way to make money on the side by throwing Sledge Remodeling Company out there to people. Go to my page and share it, go find a project that we’ve done on my page And share it! I do 10k bathrooms all the time! That’s 1 thousand dollars in your pocket for just referring me and my business! A simple tag in Facebook that leads to a job will get you paid!

I am sure everyone could use an extra thousand bucks, or an extra 200 bucks for even a small job referral. I am a single father and a great contractor who provides nothing but quality work! Help me build this business up and provide a life for my kiddo that he deserves. Sledge Remodeling is a company who’s been building dreams for over a decade. I would love to have another wonderful 11 plus years with your help.
Thank you friends and family!

Here’s a walk in shower we completed this week. The old shower was not properly waterproofed and installed. We ran into quite a bit of damage beneath the surface that we had to remedy once the tile was removed. We ended up reframing and replacing the subfloor due to mold and structural damage.
In the end this project was vastly different in design and our customers are so happy with the results!

First meal of the day lol gotta be breakfast.
I’m a hurtin unit today. Giving the body some rest. I went outside for 2 minutes and came right back in. Damn it’s hot today.
I have a heat allergy that’s been really bad lately. I step into the sun and immediately get pins and needles all over my back. This went away for a lot of years and now it’s back. I have a lot to do at home though so that’s my day lol
