A well-organized job starts with clear information.🌟

As part of USAM’s value-added service, our team develops detailed door and trim schedules to help customers manage the many moving parts of a project. These schedules organize product selections, sizes, quantities and locations into a practical reference that can be reviewed by the builder, carpenter and USAM team throughout the job.

By identifying questions early and giving the field team a clear roadmap, door and trim schedules can help reduce confusion, prevent costly mistakes and keep installation moving efficiently. It’s another way USAM supports our customers beyond supplying the materials.

The new 2x6 Ultimate Jamb Kit comes pre-grooved, pre-drilled, and ready for installation with patented CS Trim Clips. Made from stain-grade Poplar, each component is pre-sanded and ready for paint—saving valuable preparation time on the jobsite.

One door design can take on an entirely different character depending on the wood species, finish, and surrounding millwork—but seeing every possible combination has never been practical.

Koetter Studio is changing that.

The new visualization tool will make it possible to explore hundreds of Koetter Woodworking, Inc. door and wood species combinations, then complete the design with coordinating casing, crown, base, and architectural wall coverings.

A better way to explore the possibilities before making a final selection. Stay tuned for the official launch!

Great jobsite reminder from .

He’s talking about moisture control as it relates to mold, cracks, drywall pops, and overall home health and performance. For USAM, that same principle carries into the finish stage — especially when it comes to trim and doors.

Interior millwork performs best in a dry, stable environment before delivery and installation. Wood reacts to humidity, and proper jobsite conditions help protect the product, the install, and the finished home.

From existing to exceptional. ✨ What started as a dated stair became an award-winning centerpiece—recognized with a 2026 StairCraft Award for Best Stairway Renovation.

Proud to have supported this project alongside Parks and Sons, Inc. and the full team who brought it to life.

This was no simple run—one stairwell alone spans three levels with approximately seven flights, within a home featuring six total stair systems that required consistency from start to finish.

From early design through ex*****on, every detail was considered—curved transitions, custom fittings, and a seamless blend of materials that feel both timeless and intentional.

USAM was proud to supply the millwork for a project that truly transformed the space.

Appreciation to Mike Sluder of Sluder Construction and the homeowner for trusting the process—and the team—to deliver something special.
