So cool! It's important to invest in our future generations 📚

Thank you to the sponsors of the 2026 Blount County Career Exploration Fair! 🙌

On Tuesday, October 20, more than 1,500 eighth graders from Blount County Schools, Maryville City Schools, Alcoa City Schools and local private schools will meet business leaders and employers, try brief hands-on activities and start picturing the careers waiting for them right here at home.

Students will explore finance, information technology, computer science, architecture, construction, HVAC, manufacturing, government, law, health science, food science, culinary arts, education and more. Soft skills sessions will also coach them on handshakes, interview etiquette, dressing for success and quick pitches.

None of this happens without our generous sponsors:

David S. from our Aggregates team was nominated by his supervisor and leadership team for an employee spotlight 💡

David is always willing to go the extra mile at our Dillsboro quarry by helping new employees, sharing his experience, and taking on extra duties when someone is out. David's Supervisor deemed him an excellent team player!

We recognize Tim S. and Tim A. today for rendering first aid to a third party subcontractor, post dump truck accident. Both men went above and beyond their job descriptions to take care of the injured man until the ambulance arrived.

Thank you both for stepping up and standing out!

Glad to help share a great cause on our shiny new truck! 👍😄

We love seeing community support like this from Harrison Construction Company! Employee Linda Lane and DayBreak Director Jill Pope got to show off the new truck during this year's Dessert Jam fundraiser for DayBreak.

It was incredibly special to host a class of kids at our Waynesville Quarry last Friday. We had a fantastic day showing the students around and letting them experience our world of aggregates 🦺🚧 (with some face painting, of course!)

Inclusion is not about big events or formal programs at CRH. It shows up in the small things we do every day – how we greet each other, how we listen, how we share information, how we recognize effort, and how we make sure everyone has a chance to contribute.

It's about making sure everyone in the Harrison family feels like part of the Harrison family.

We're glad to partner with the best and get the job done right! Our fleet looks good from overhead 💪

We appreciate Congressman Tim Burchett taking the time to tour our Lovell Road Concrete Plant and have a conversation with our crew. Nothing emphasizes the need for the work we do like putting boots on and talking to the people who make it happen.
