A better school day can start before students even walk through the door.

At Steekee Elementary, we transformed an entrance that often collected water into a safer, more reliable path for students, staff, and visitors.

Here's how we solved it:

🏗️ A new covered walkway
🚧 A raised, repoured sidewalk
💧 An upgraded drainage system to move water away from the walkway

Now, students can get to class on a safer, drier path, rain or shine.

Sometimes the biggest improvements are the ones people notice most on rainy mornings.

The projects we complete every day are only possible because of the people behind them.

That's why we believe it's important to occasionally step away from the job site, gather around the grill, share a meal, and enjoy a little friendly competition. Our Summer Cookout brought the team together for burgers, hot dogs, an ice cream sundae bar, and a paper airplane challenge that definitely brought out everyone's competitive side. 🍔✈️

These moments may not be part of the workday, but they're part of what makes Skilled Services the team it is.

The transformation of the former Clinton Armory into the Great Futures Early Learning Center began with a simple goal: create a place where local children can learn, families can thrive, and the community can grow.

This is what conference lunch should look like. 🌮🎶

UpSkilled 2026 brought everyone together for great food, live music, giveaways, and a chance to connect during TSPMA's Summer Conference.

Guests enjoyed Jose's Taco Bar, another fantastic performance from the Emerald Empire Band, and the opportunity to learn more about how Skilled Services helps schools and facilities develop practical solutions.

Congratulations to our giveaway winners, who went home with a patriotic cooler, Dollywood gift certificate, JBL speaker, and an America 250 gear package. 🎁

At the 2026 Summer TSPMA Conference, our team had the opportunity to connect with facility managers and maintenance professionals from across Tennessee.

The vendor hall gave us a chance to learn more about the challenges schools are facing, discuss upcoming facility needs, and share how Skilled Services helps clients develop solutions that fit their goals, priorities, and budgets.
