For National Ice cream Day, we wanted to share a fun fact about our business owner, P.J., our favorite Ice cream man. Aside from running Strip Technologies, P.J. Burchett has also dabbled in the Ice cream profession. From 2013-2019, P.J. ran a small local ice cream business called The Cruisin Cone. However it's impact spanned much farther than East Tennessee. This Hot-Rod Ice cream truck was once a 1950 International Metro Van that PJ Burchett restored starting in 2013, and has received international attention due to its appearance in the 2015 SEMA Automotive Industry Show in Las Vegas. During Covid-19, P.J. was forced to shut down and retire his wild Ice cream man persona. However, He is still #1 in our hearts.
