The scullery gives all the hardworking parts of the kitchen their own space while keeping everything close at hand—especially when the house is full.

We’re getting closer to opening the doors at Shi No Nomori at Tennessee National, one of our two homes in this year’s hbaknox Parade of Homes.

It’s all in the details.

In Shi No Nomori, one of our two homes in this year’s hbaknox Parade of Homes, this powder bath ceiling is covered in a beautiful Kravet wallcovering.

The only problem? A white air vent right in the middle of it wasn’t exactly part of the vision.

So our Project Manager Kevin painted the housing, and Gina from Finishing Touch Installation Services covered the face and back plate in the same wallcovering so it would blend right into the ceiling.

Now it practically disappears.

It’s a tiny detail, but it’s a pretty good example of what happens behind the scenes when everyone cares about getting the details just right. With Holly Hill leading the interior design on Shi No Nomori, even the air vents get the treatment. ✨

Here’s another little peek inside Sunset Heights on Highwick, one of our two homes in this year’s hbaknox Parade of Homes.

The stonework, custom doors, incredible lighting, woodwork, unexpected textures, beautiful hardware, that staircase, that shower…there is something to notice everywhere you look.

And we still haven’t shown you everything.

Our Tennessee National hbaknox Parade Home, Shi No Nomori, is getting very close, and the details are starting to come together.

Moody walls, warm wood, layers of texture, beautiful lighting, custom window treatments, and plenty we’re not showing you yet.

The details don’t just happen.

Gina with Finishing Touch Installation Services was on site today installing this beautiful Thibaut wallcovering, and we had to get a few behind-the-scenes shots of her at work.

There’s a real skill to getting details like this just right, especially in a space with corners, fixtures, tile, and all the little things that have to line up beautifully.

We’re lucky to work with talented people who care about their craft, and we love getting to show you a little more of what goes into the finished spaces you usually see here.

We still love this one.

That big front porch gets us every time, but there’s a lot to love once you step inside, too. Warm wood floors and beams, a beautiful kitchen, a fireplace tucked into the living space, and all those practical little places that make everyday life easier.
