We need to settle this debate once and for all… 👀🎃

Candy corn: YES or NO?

We asked some of our team, and we’re officially split — 3 YES and 3 NO.😂

So apparently we need a tiebreaker…

🦋 Rest in peace, Dolly.

Today, East Tennessee lost someone who meant so much to so many.

Dolly Parton showed us that kindness, humility, generosity, and the way we treat others matter most. Her love for people and for East Tennessee left a mark that will never be forgotten.

At The Plumbing Authority, we've always looked up to Dolly—not just for what she accomplished, but for the way she treated people. That's a legacy worth striving for.

From our family to hers, we extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone who loved her.

Dolly, we will always love you. ❤️

🚽 Myth Monday

Myth: "Flushable" wipes are safe to flush.

❌ False!

Even wipes labeled "flushable" don't break down like toilet paper. Over time, they can clog your home's plumbing and contribute to costly sewer backups.

The only things you should flush are:
✅ Toilet paper
✅ Human waste

Everything else—including wipes, paper towels, cotton swabs, and feminine hygiene products—belongs in the trash. 🗑️

🚿 Hot water is one of those things you don't appreciate until it's gone.

Most water heaters last 8–12 years. If yours is getting older, leaking, or struggling to keep up, it may be time to start thinking about a replacement—before you're left with an unexpected cold shower.

The good news? Replacing your water heater may cost less than you think.
💲 New water heaters as low as $110/mo.

We provide professional water heater installation and water heater replacement for homeowners across Knoxville and the surrounding areas.
