There’s a lot to keep safe when you’re working in a hospital.

The equipment. The systems. The patients who depend on them. And the people doing the work.

At Engert, Safety is one of our core values because responsibility doesn't stop with getting the job done right. It means creating an environment where our people can speak up, ask for help, and know that their wellbeing matters, too.

The work may be big. The responsibility is bigger.

We don’t just build careers. We build leaders.

We’re proud to celebrate our very own, Paul Wilkey, on completing the Emerging Leadership Program, a leadership development program created by BESCO and Engert to invest in the people who will help shape the future of our companies.

Alongside coworkers from both companies, the group strengthened their leadership skills, challenged themselves to think differently, and helped develop a new process designed to streamline the way we work.

We believe the best leaders aren’t simply found. They’re developed, challenged, supported, and given opportunities to make an impact.

Congratulations, Paul! We’re proud of the work you’ve put in and excited to see where your leadership takes you next. 👏

Progress continues across multiple areas on this major project!

While work at is winding down in one building, construction on the new office expansion continues to gain momentum. Underground utilities are in place, and the recent slab pour marks an important milestone as the project moves from site preparation into vertical construction.

Every completed phase moves the project one step closer to serving the people who will work there every day 💪

We're officially entering the final stretch!

Construction is substantially complete, with our team now focused on system start-up, testing, and commissioning to ensure every system performs exactly as intended. These final phases are critical to delivering reliable, high-performing mechanical systems that owners can depend on from day one.

Quality doesn't end when installation is complete it just continues through every final inspection and system check.

Every project comes with unique challenges and that's where experience makes the difference.

One of the most demanding aspects of this stadium renovation has been installing ductwork through tight overhead spaces. By developing a coordinated installation sequence, our foreman and sheet metal team created a plan that allowed the work to move safely, efficiently, and without compromising quality. It's another example of the problem-solving and collaboration our crews bring to every jobsite 💪

08/04/2026

Renovations continue to take shape as our team transforms more than 12,000 square feet through selective demolition, interior reconfiguration, and new mechanical system installations. Every phase requires careful coordination to keep the project moving safely and efficiently while preparing the space for its next chapter.

From demolition to framing, our crews are laying the groundwork for the systems that will support the facility for years to come. We're proud to be part of another project that combines craftsmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail.
