March starts Termite Swarm Season. It is a good time to shield your home from termites.

As termite swarm season gets underway, I thought this would be a good time to explain why termites swarm and why you need termite protection. There are termites in the ground in the southeast region of the United States. Most of the time no one sees them or their damage. However, they are in the ground and their colonies are growing and eating. As each colony outgrows its current nest, they forage for food and a new nest. This is when you may see termite swarmers. They fly out of the ground in a swarm to mate and form a new colony, often after a rainstorm, which is part of why you see them this time of year.

Unfortunately our homes are not impenetrable, so protection is a must.

Meet the team 😄 Last team post. This is me, Brandi 😆 I am the one who answers the phone, texts, emails. I schedule the killing of the bugs and all the things the guys do.

I am a hot mess of a gal, and I don't pretend to be anything different. I work from home and homeschool my girls (pre-COVID even 🤪), so I am a bit of a juggler 🤹‍♀️, and it can be a bit of a circus act over here 🎪 I love God, my hubs, kids, pets (especially my dog 🐕‍🦺😂😂). I love spending our weekends on the lake. I wouldn't come home if they had internet up there.

I love you guys, too. You guys really are a huge part of my heart. You didn't have to choose us, but you did, and that means the world to me. I realize that you help take care of my family, and I want to help take care of yours. I don't want you living with bugs, so text me, email me, call me if you have to, but let me know if you need us.

Meet the team 😁 This is Austin, our oldest son (my step-son, but details details...) 💙💙 He has been working with us for several months now and is doing AMAZING!! We have had several calls complimenting him on all the extras he has been doing. He is thoughtful, kind, determined 😎 He is not so much a talker 🤐 Like all our folks, he is funny 🤣🤣 He's dry, but around here, we get it 🤷‍♀️ I hope you guys make him feel as welcome as he will make you feel.

Meet the team 🙂 This is Jeff. He is our main pest control guy, so most of you should know and ❤️ him. Brian and I have known Jeff for 12 years. Brian worked for Jeff when I was pregnant with Kalli, and the friendship lasts to this day. He treats our business as he did his own. His value to us and our business can not be put in words. He is funny (we like funny around here 😂), conscientious, thorough, and hardworking. He's the guy that I can ask to do extra and know he will if he at all can. Thank you, Jeff, for all you do for us and our people every day!!!

Take care of the pollinators 🐝

Enjoying your afternoon tea with honey while gazing over fields of native wildflowers at your favorite state park? Or perhaps just grabbing coffee while stuck in the office? Either way, thank our friendly local pollinators for the little and big things we all enjoy. Many of the pleasurable things in life including food and important, can't live without, things like coffee all are possible because of the creatures that pollinate these plants. Bees, butterflies, birds, bears, bats, and yes even things not starting with the letter 'B' help spread pollen. Even we humans play our role in spreading pollen from plant to plant.
During this National Pollinator Week remember the crucial role pollinators play in keeping us all going.
