We know that breast cancer has affected so many of our past and current customers and families. My sister is a breast cancer survivor, Joe’s mother in law passed from breast cancer, and my wife is a mammogram tech for North Knoxville Medical. I just recently placed an order to get some pink shirts for us to wear for work during the month of October. I ordered a few extras to be able to give out to customers who have been directly impacted by breast cancer. I won’t have a ton of extras but a few. Sizes are large and extra large. If you would like one, let me know. If we have a bunch of responses I may do a drawing with names in a hat. And if anyone wants to make a donation for breast cancer awareness I will make sure your money goes to a great cause. (Donations are not necessary to be entered for a free shirt.)

About 2 months ago one of our previous customers called cause their hardwood was buckling. We came right out, crawled through their crawlspace to find a busted pipe spraying water all over the center beam and against the under side of their subfloor. I called my friend Nathan to come fix the water pipe, call my friends at ServAll in Powell and to get the crawlspace, subfloor, and hardwood dried out. For the past 2 weeks they’ve been soaking up the sun in Hawaii while we removed the bad areas of the hardwood, patched in new hardwood, and refinished their entire main level. The end result turned out really nice!

Facts! I was a corner kid all through Powell Middle and Powell High…actually Mrs. Jones didn’t put up with me in high school so I was in the hall till I got escorted to the office after the principal found me out there.

Not the result we needed when trying to finish up the first of 3 homes on the same site for Clayton Homes and the Helen Ross McNabb Center. We’ll get this one wrapped up tomorrow.

2nd of 5 pallets will be delivered tomorrow for this big job. 7094 sq ft equals 246 boxes of this LVP. That’s a lot of hauling, carrying, and installing!

When we find issues with subflooring we always find a way to remedy the situation. This subfloor was sitting level with the rest of the subfloor but when walked on we noticed it was dropping. We cut the subfloor out to reveal a termite eaten floor joist. We ended up scabbing new joists on both sides of the bad joist, setting them on the plate and running them long enough to find solid wood in that joist. Lag bolts were ran through all 3 joists to secure everything properly.

2000 sq ft of engineered hardwood glued down. This floor would have been nearly impossible to install if the door casings were already installed. It’s a type that can be floated with the locking system on it but they would not slide in the glue once it went down. The finished product turned out really nice!
