Cempa Community Care has officially broken ground on the renovation of their facility in downtown Chattanooga, TN!

LGA attended the ceremony alongside P&C Construction as well as Cempa’s Board of Directors and staff members. This renovation project will include 22,500 SF of exterior and interior renovations, increasing the total number of patient care spaces and providing much-needed repairs and upgrades.

Congratulations to John Hay Elementary School on the groundbreaking of their new renovation project! LGA is once again working with the Hamblen County Department of Education to renovate the current open classroom concept to more traditional style classrooms. Congratulations to Knox County Schools students and faculty on their first day of school! We are proud that KCS chose to highlight Pond Gap Elementary School to kick off this new school year. LGA provided vital upgrades to this important neighborhood school with renovations totaling 36,000 SF and additions of 58,000 SF, including a new administration/guidance/clinic suite, special education suite, gymnasium, food service area, and new classrooms.

Saturday’s Tails and Treasures, hosted by the SPCA of Bradley County, was designed to be a fundraiser for the organization’s operating budget, but it turned out to be much more.

LGA was proud to participate in the Tails & Treasures Event that was held on Saturday, August 1st, where a new facility for SPCA of Bradley County will be located. While guests came to shop, support, volunteer, donate and spend the day, they were able to get a first look at the conceptual design for the SPCA facility’s new addition and renovation.

The SPCA is currently operating out of an old, small, modular building. The addition will allow them to meet the growing demand for providing healthy, transitional housing to many more animals. It will deliver a facility that is easier for staff to operate and will also give guests a more pleasant setting in which to visit and adopt animals. The new facility will include kennels for large and small dogs with outdoor runs; cat and kitten colonies, a grooming area, visitation spaces with outdoor play yards, a secure intake area with sally port and isolation spaces, and a clinical area with exam rooms, lab, surgery, and recovery areas, as well as administrative and conferencing spaces.

Set amongst the verdant landscape surrounding Watts Bar Lake lies the recently-completed Rockwood RV Park + Marina.

This 43-acre development, located near Tom Fuller Memorial Park in Rockwood, Tennessee, includes a marina and RV campground, 204 covered boat slips, boat ramps, a fuel platform, a swimming beach, fishing piers, parking spaces, water intakes, and riprap.

New facilities for the resort were designed by LGA, including a new bathhouse with an adjoining pool and pavilion, a centralized check-in building for RV camping guests, a combination convenience store + restaurant, a spacious playground area, and a fuel platform to service both visitors and marina guests.

Sterchi Elementary School, nestled in the heart of Knoxville’s Cedar Heights neighborhood, has been serving that community’s students and staff since 1959. Now, LGA is helping bring the facility into the twenty-first century.

This phased project adds 15,300 SF of new construction with a new secure entry vestibule, administrative suite, music and arts wing, media center, and special education suite, among other educational and support spaces. Renovations totaling nearly 8,000 SF include gymnasium improvements, new thermally-insulated windows in existing classroom daylight wings, and a new sprinkler system for the existing building and the new additions. The project’s site improvements include a reconfigured drive, new parking, underground detention, and a new canopy providing a covered drop off at the new entrance.

The UTIA Broiler & Research Facility is progressing as Broiler House 2 goes vertical.

Over the next few weeks, Broiler House 1 and 2 will be fully framed and the 600' long structures will become outfitted as the NextGen commercial scale houses provide the platform for crucial research.

LGA is excited to be a part of creating a blueprint for the cutting-edge broiler facilities that foster sustainability, animal welfare and energy efficiency at the Middle Tennessee AgResearch Facility in Springhill, Tennessee.
