Little bit of the flagstone life for you. I typically never do gator dust joints on these. Mortar joints last a lot longer and have so much more strength. They lack in pliability but as long as you have a strong base, you don’t need any. The joints are a 4 step process with a final clean. Part of that process is bonding the mortar to the edges of the joint in three of those steps. Very very strong finished product.

Hey everyone, if you need any stone work hard scaping done; I’m your guy. I am also proficient in concrete and stucco/parge coats. I also take in patios,walkways, fire pits and fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, and retaining walls. I am licensed and insured.

All this stone came from an old house in the property. We removed it, cleaned it, Shaped it and laid it. Pretty cool.

This project is unique to say the least. The clients wanted a very rough look to the wall. I started getting straight in few places but over all, I think I accomplished the random natural look instead a smooth straight face. The gravel really adds the area.
