Driveway extension finished. We poured it and it’s ready to go! Our friends will be adding a roof cover for extra protected parking space.

Out with the old. This brick wall was never designed to hold back the pressure behind it, so we tore it out and we're rebuilding it with a Keystone Regal 8 retaining wall.

We're only on the second row, but this is where the real work happens. The base and drainage going in now are what decide whether this wall lasts decades or starts failing in a few years. Water trapped behind a retaining wall builds hydrostatic pressure, and that pressure is the number one reason walls lean, bulge, and fail. Giving that water somewhere to go is the whole game.

A retaining wall is only as good as what's behind it and underneath it. More to come as it goes up.

Working in replacing a failed retaining wall with a new keystone regal 8 block retaining wall. Using filter fabric geogrid and all the proper drainage behind our new wall for a long lasting beautiful project.

Transforming an entrance in downtown Knoxville.

This property had an overgrown, bushy hillside crowding the front entrance. We cut it back and installed a Keystone retaining wall in the Edgington blend, giving the space a clean, finished look that makes a strong first impression.

What you don't see matters just as much. Behind every block is a proper drainage system that keeps water moving away from the wall so it stays strong and looks great for years to come.

Contractor rant. Materials getting more expensive, we are paying 240-250 a yard out the door for concrete. Not including cost to do business continues to go up before we are making a penny.
What are your thoughts ?

Throwback to a build we finished last year — stamped concrete patio, two custom pergolas, and the homeowners added lighting and fans to finish it off.

Now it's where the family lands every fall Saturday. Game on, fire going, everybody outside.

That's the whole point. We're not pouring concrete — we're building the spot your family ends up in for the next 20 years.
