The Masters golf week carries many symbolic memories for all of us. For the grounds manager, avid backyard gardener or Property Manager watching the immaculate maintained grounds or highly floral Azalea displays are just a few of the weekly highlights. This sanctuary is very different from any other around the world as there is no such thing as a budget along with a full-time staff the size of a few professional football teams.

🌿 Quality Control Audits and Turf Insights 🌿
📍 We conducted quality control audits in North Raleigh and Wake Forest this week to ensure our turf properties are in top condition!
📈 Soil temperatures in the Triangle area have been around 56°F for 5 days straight, perfect for applying pre-emergents to stop new w**d germination.
Warmer soil temps bring Poa into the mix on our fescue properties. Selective herbicides and Plant Growth Regulators have shown great success. Property Managers, Developers, and discerning clients should engage with us to explore effective strategies in our Program.
🌱 Our fescue properties are shining bright this season! Thanks to our high-quality spoon-feeding Polyon, we avoid spring flush growth, double-cuts, and heavy blowing of concrete surfaces. We are positioned to complete Round 2 well ahead of schedule.

During non-peak mowing season, some of our crews focus on property enhancements such as mulch and pinestraw. We are able to utilize our 10-Acre property for full truck load deliveries from suppliers to allow for greater crew efficiencies while delivering high-quality product to our discerning customers.

We will install over 20,000 bales of pinestraw & thousands of yards of mulch over the year!

is nearing the finish line for a large-scale landscape installation in Chatham County for a new community YMCA.

Some fun facts about jobsite to date:
1 - Over 600 tons of screened topsoil to grade and backfill site.
2 - Local and native tree and shrubs within the landscape.
3 - Close to 2 football fields in area of bermuda sod (Go Vols!)
