Tree Service Job Estimator — Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Tree Service Job Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with customers, providing accurate estimates, and representing our company with professionalism and integrity. Prior sales experience is strongly preferred, and we encourage women to apply. This position is open to all qualified individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet with clients on-site to assess tree work needs and prepare accurate estimates

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, maintaining excellent phone etiquette

Build rapport with clients and deliver outstanding customer service

Input job details using basic computer software (training provided)

Track and follow up on estimates to help secure jobs

Maintain an organized workflow, schedule, and daily tasks

Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while representing the business professionally

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred: prior sales experience

Basic computer skills and strong organizational abilities

Ability to maintain professional phone etiquette

Tree Climber / Bucket Truck Operator — Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Tree Climber / Bucket Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, understands professional industry standards, and can lead a crew while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude. This role requires hands-on field work, safe equipment operation, and the ability to manage job sites efficiently and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform tree climbing, bucket truck operation, pruning, removal, and aerial work

Manage job sites with professionalism, maintaining workflow, safety, and team coordination

Follow all ANSI A300 tree care industry standards and promote best practices on site

Operate chainsaws and other industry-standard tools safely and efficiently

Use proper rigging equipment and techniques for material lowering and technical removals

Maintain equipment and uphold company safety and maintenance protocols

Work collaboratively with the crew while demonstrating strong leadership abilities

Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure job success

Requirements:

Prior professional tree industry experience (climbing or bucket work)

Strong job site management and leadership skills

Working knowledge of ANSI A300 standards

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Chainsaw operation experience

Understanding of standard rigging gear and safe rigging practices

Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example

Integrity, commitment to safety, and reliability

Own climbing gear preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

TCIA certifications

ISA Arborist certifications

Additional industry training or safety certifications

Compensation:

$20–$40 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and certifications

New Job Opening for Ground Crew!!

We are searching for a hard working tree groundsman to join our company. The tree groundsman’s duties include reporting to the foreman, assisting bucket truck operator/climber, collecting/piling branches, chipping brush, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring hazard-free work areas. You should be able to work with a variety of crew members. You will have an opportunity to learn and be trained/ promoted to bucket truck operator and/or tree climber. We are looking for crew members that want to grow with the company and learn a new skill.
Starting pay is $16/hr pay will be based on experience, work ethic, and willingness/ ability to learn new skills.

To be successful as a tree groundsman, you should be physically strong and able to work in extreme weather conditions. Outstanding tree groundsmen should be able to carry out instructions efficiently and complete all maintenance tasks to the highest standard.

Tree Groundsman Responsibilities:

- Carrying out all maintenance duties allocated by the Foreman.
- Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
- Assisting Arborists with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals.
- Learning techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members.
- Safely using tools and equipment like chippers and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring all sites are kept clean and free of hazards.
- Inspecting equipment and tools and performing repairs and maintenance when required.
- Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
- Reporting any issues or safety hazards to the Foreman or other relevant parties.
- Adhering to company and environmental regulations at all times.

Tree Groundsman Requirements:

- Valid drivers license
- chainsaw experience preferred
- Previous work experience as a tree groundsman or similar preferred
- Good physical strength, fitness, vision, and hearing.
- Coachable, able to understand and retain instructions
- The ability to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop.
- The ability to transport heavy items.
- Superb communication skills.
- The ability to follow verbal instructions.
- A positive attitude and work ethic.
