Eric Andrews, Vice President/General Contractor

Eric Andrews founded Eco Solar, Inc. (DBA: EcoSolar and Electric) November 2007. Eric and his wife, Alison, were drawn to the Klamath Basin by its promise of 300 days of sunshine each year. Since their arrival, Eric has played an active role in helping to increase renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in the Basin. In 2009, the City of Klamath Falls awarded Eric with the “Green Pelican” award for his work educating the community about solar energy. Eric is a Certified Technician with the Oregon Department of Energy, a Trade Ally with the Energy Trust of Oregon, and a Limited Renewable Energy Technician. Additionally, Eric has completed the rigorous work required to become certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) as a Solar Photovoltaic Installer. Eric is the loving father of Samson and Boden. Eric enjoys mountain biking, dirt bike riding, hiking and home improvement projects. Eric has completed the Leadville Trail 100 mountain bike race 5 times (www.leadvilleraceseries.com). Just finishing a 100 mile mountain bike race is an accomplishment! Alison Andrews, President

Alison Andrews is co-owner of EcoSolar and Electric. She grew up off-grid in the Siskiyou National Forest, with a passion for health and outdoor adventures. She grew up enjoying biking, hiking and backpacking. Some of her favorite places to backpack include: The Rogue River Trial, Kalmiopsis Wilderness, Mount Jefferson Wilderness, and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. She graduated from OSU, and worked as a registered dietitian for over 10 years. In Oct 2011, she started a La Leche League group in Klamath Falls. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10AM at Friends Church (1918 Oregon Ave.). Alison balances taking care of the young Andrews boys, and overseeing administrative activities and financial planning at EcoSolar and Electric. We focus on high-caliber customer service and workmanship. We use only new, brand name products and parts. We just passed the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.

A reminder to get outside, soak up the sunshine, and appreciate the incredible resource we get to work with every day.

Here’s to longer days, warm evenings, and a bright summer ahead.

Happy Summertime from EcoSolar Electric.

Would you hire a plumber from Eugene to replace your kitchen sink?

A roofer from Portland to replace your roof?

Probably not.

Solar is a long term investment. Service matters.

When comparing solar companies, ask yourself one important question:

Who will you call a year from now?

We’re proud to be local, and we’re proud to still be here.

Commercial solar is more accessible than many businesses realize.

From grants to federal tax incentives, we help guide the process from start to finish.

Thank you, Timothy Moore, for the kind words and for trusting EcoSolar Electric with your project.

Federal commercial solar incentives are still available. Now is a good time to explore your options.

Commercial battery incentives are some of the strongest we have seen.

Through Energy Trust of Oregon, businesses may qualify for up to $9,000 toward battery storage.

Battery systems help protect against outages, reduce downtime, and keep your operations running when it matters most.

If you are considering backup power, now is a great time to explore your options.

Schedule a consultation to see what your business may qualify for. More details: https://www.energytrust.org/incentives/solar-for-your-business/

This is home.

The way we build, the way we use energy, and the way we care for this place all matter.

We are proud to do our part right here in the Basin.

Education deserves infrastructure that lasts.

We are proud to have installed solar at Klamath Community College right here in the Basin. Projects like this require licensed electrical work, careful system design, and long term performance planning.

Commercial solar is not just about installing panels. It is about building an asset that serves an institution for decades.

And right now, commercial businesses still have access to the federal tax credit, but the deadline is approaching this July.

If solar has been on your radar for your business, now is the time to evaluate it while those incentives are still in place.

Start with clarity. Start with planning. Start local.
