This bathroom went from very early 2000s to clean, bright, and actually functional.

Sometimes you come across a material that you just know is going to make a space special.

While working with our clients on an upcoming bathroom remodel, we found this stunning black and white marble-look tile—and it instantly felt like the perfect fit. The classic checkerboard pattern brings a timeless, elevated look that’s going to completely transform the space.

This past weekend, we invested in our growth at the Mind Your Business class hosted by Schluter—and the business lessons we walked away with are already changing how we operate 👏

From mastering business structure and systems to learning how to better serve our clients, this class gave us so many valuable takeaways we're excited to implement into Blue Collar Family Construction.

But here's the real gold: getting in a room with other driven contractors and business owners, sharing ideas, and learning from each other. That peer-to-peer knowledge is something you just can't replace.

We also got to stay at the Graduate Hotel in Eugene, which made it a fun little getaway mixed with business (always a win when you can do both 🤍).

Grateful for opportunities like this that help us grow—not just as a business, but as leaders for our family and our clients.

This shower used to feel outdated and cramped, and the goal for this home was simple: make upgrades that bring the best return on investment—without cutting corners.

For this Klamath Falls, Oregon bathroom remodel, we built a clean, timeless tile shower using Schluter waterproofing (yes—the system with a lifetime warranty when installed correctly). We also swapped to a hinged glass door, which made a huge difference—especially since the guys in the house are a little taller and wanted a shower that actually feels open and comfortable.

Bathroom remodel complete in Klamath Falls.

We took this one all the way down to the studs, fixed what needed fixing, re-waterproofed everything, and rebuilt it the right way from the inside out.

Upgrades included:
- New tile flooring
- New tub
- New shower walls
- Quartz window reveal (clean, durable, and easy to wipe down)
- Updated vanity
- Fresh texture + paint
