Another project completed for a repeat customer in Bothell!

We installed a new two-block-high curved retaining wall around the garden beds and continued the wall down the driveway, giving the landscaping a cleaner, more defined look while helping contain the soil and separate the planting areas.

The curves and elevation changes made this one a little more detailed than a standard straight wall, but the finished result ties the property together nicely.

Another project completed for a repeat customer in Woodinville! This time we tackled an existing paver pathway that had settled and become uneven over time.

We pulled up the problem areas, corrected and re-leveled the base, and rebuilt the pathway to give it a cleaner, smoother, and safer finished surface. One of the great things about pavers is that when settling happens, they can often be repaired and restored instead of completely replaced.

Another project completed for an existing customer in Snohomish! This time we tackled erosion and drainage issues on their backyard slope.

We installed erosion-control measures to help stabilize the hillside, protect the soil from washing away, and installed a new drain to help capture and redirect water away from problem areas. With the amount of rain we get here in the PNW, managing water properly is one of the most important parts of protecting a sloped property.

We added new flagstone pathways around our own property, creating a more finished look while making the yard easier to navigate. It’s nice getting a chance to bring some of the same hardscape work we do for our customers home for a change!

Another retaining wall transformation complete! We removed the old wooden retaining wall and replaced it with a durable block wall built for a cleaner look and long-term performance. We also added a new set of stairs for easier access, installed proper drainage behind the wall, and regraded/sloped the yard to improve water flow and make the space more functional.

A lot more goes into a retaining wall than just stacking blocks—proper excavation, base preparation, drainage, and grading are what help make the finished project last.

Another custom outdoor upgrade completed in Bothell! 🔥

This customer already had a dedicated fire pit area, and we added a new block fire pit with a steel insert right in the center to complete the space. The new fire pit ties in nicely with the existing stonework and creates a clean, finished centerpiece for relaxing and entertaining outdoors.

Sometimes a smaller addition is all it takes to completely finish off a backyard space!

Another big Woodinville project officially wrapped up! This property got a major transformation from start to finish.

We completed three block retaining walls, built and graded new parking pads, regraded the driveway, cleared a significant amount of overgrown land, and leveled multiple areas to create cleaner, more usable space throughout the property.

A lot of excavation, land clearing, grading, drainage, base preparation, and block work went into this one. We appreciate our repeat customer continuing to trust Wallscapes Northwest with improvements around their property!
