We recently completed a half mile of fence repairs and built over a mile of wildlife-friendly fencing for Castlewood Canyon State Park right here in Douglas County.

While on the job, we were lucky enough to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including hummingbirds, ducks, hawks, antelope, deer, and elk—including these beautiful baby elk!

We take pride in building fencing that not only serves its purpose but also helps protect and support the local wildlife that call these areas home. We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the park and its conservation efforts.

In May, we tore out and rebuilt just over 3,000 linear feet of fence in Iowa.

This project features creosote-treated wood posts (available only in Iowa), 48" Bekaert Fencing high-tensile sheep and goat fence, one strand of Bekaert Cattleman Pro high-tensile barbed wire along the top, and one strand of electrified high-tensile wire approximately 2 feet off the ground.

As part of the project, we also adjusted several fence lines to improve the overall efficiency of the property and reduce the number of times the fence crossed the waterway. This not only simplified maintenance but also created a more practical layout for livestock management.

The result is a durable, low-maintenance fence system that works exceptionally well for sheep, goats, cattle, and most other livestock. Built with quality materials and proper installation, this fence is designed to provide reliable performance for many years to come.
