🔧 Tuesday Tip: Be nice to your garbage disposal. 😂

It works hard, but it is NOT a trash can.

A few habits that can save you a headache:

💧 Run cold water while using it
🚫 Keep grease and oil out
🥬 Avoid stringy or fibrous scraps like celery and corn husks

They’re easy to forget because they usually sit quietly behind the washer doing their job — until they don’t. 😬

Take a quick look today for:
• Cracks or bulges
• Rust or corrosion near the connections
• Dampness or slow drips
• Kinks, pinching, or visible wear

A two-minute check can help catch a small problem before it turns into a very wet laundry room. 💧

If anything looks questionable, it may be worth having it checked before it becomes a bigger issue.

Sunday Reset: Check for a hidden water leak. 👀

Here’s a simple way to catch a leak you may not be able to see:

Make sure no faucets, toilets, washing machines, dishwashers, sprinklers, or other water-using appliances are running.

Then check your water meter, wait about 30 minutes, and check it again.

If the meter moved while everything was off, that can be a sign that water is going somewhere it shouldn’t. 😬

Hidden leaks can quietly waste water and cause damage long before they become obvious.

A few minutes of checking today could save you a much bigger headache later.

🚽 Thursday Truth: Just because the package says “flushable” doesn’t mean your plumbing agrees.

Wipes generally don’t break down the way toilet paper does, which means they can hang around in your plumbing and contribute to some seriously unpleasant clogs. 😬

A good rule of thumb:

If it isn’t toilet paper or something that came from you… put it in the trash. 😂

That includes:

• Cleaning wipes
• Makeup wipes
• Paper towels
