Job: Office Manager/Bookkeeper, P/T, work at home
PAN ELDI, Inc. is a licensed and insured electrical outfit in business for over 15 years. Based in Kingston and servicing residential and commercial accounts throughout Ulster County, we are seeking a part-time office manager to manage all administrative responsibilities for the business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Enter job cost data
Daily & monthly reconciliation of books/bank statements
Prepare monthly financial reports
Verify and process payroll
Create estimates and invoices
Submit building permit applications and inspection applications
Coordinate service requests with Central Hudson
Obtain certificates of insurance for projects as needed
Organize and help plan and prioritize project calendar
Manage customer database
Research and purchase products
Act as liaison with clientele and take detailed messages for head electrician
Prepare, process and ship any product returns
Post to social media accounts
The ideal candidate:
Has a Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years experience as an office manager
Has a experience with Quickbooks
Has experience working in the construction industry or has an understanding of the construction business
Can work independently and manage her/his time efficiently
Is a fast learner who is not afraid to ask questions
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
Has strong organizational skills
Can prioritize and multitask
Pay
$18-$25/hour
Accrued paid time off
Schedule
Work from home, with a 1-2 hr. weekly meeting in Kingston w/ head electrician
15-20 hours per week
M-F: ideal hours 9:00/10:00am-1:00/2:00pm (with some flexibility if need be)
