Marshfield - This kitchen backsplash is a 3x12 ceramic handmade subway tile. We replaced the existing drywall with Go-board prior to installation. This customer painted their existing cabinets, installed a new countertop, and added a new tile backsplash. They got the look of a kitchen renovation at a fraction of the cost!

Just a friendly reminder that tile installation and the prep work necessary takes time. Often times, if you find someone willing to do the work for half price or significantly cheaper, you will end up paying to have the job done twice. Cutting corners and using cheap materials cuts down their cost. Hire a tile professional that takes the time to ensure the job is done correctly. Duxbury - Replaced the old 6x24 porcelain tile with new 12x24 porcelain tile. Demolition is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get! Found lauan plywood as underlayment, which is NOT suitable for tile because it is an unstable, soft, and moisture-sensitive substrate that will lead to cracked grout and failed adhesive. Replaced the lauan with Schluter Ditra XL uncoupling membrane to ensure a long lasting installation. Contact us today to ensure your next tile project is done correctly and lasts a lifetime. :)
