The contractor asked how much extra to pump color. We do not charge extra to pump colored concrete, apparently other pumpers do.

We’ve had some rain this week and there’s more rain in the forecast. We pumped a set of footers this morning, in the rain, and we had no problem dispersing the water. Here’s how concrete pushes the water out as you place it:

We are filling up the block and then placing the slab immediately afterward, sequencing is everything in this business

Normally we do not place & finish concrete, but this customer could not get any concrete contractors to respond, probably because it was a smaller job. It was around 500 sq. feet. While TCB doesn't typically take on flatwork, our son Jacob does.
