Brown Drilling has an immediate opening for a "driller's assistant" with a Class A CDL (with tanker endorsement) with our water well drilling crew that requires heavy lifting. This position is a physically intensive job. Work is local to Kingman and surrounding areas and is a four-day work week.

We are willing to train the right person. Heavy equipment operations, construction experience, mechanical/maintenance experience or welding experience are a plus. Applicant must be able to lift 100 pounds, be motivated, have good communication skills, a sense of urgency, and able to pay attention to detail. Must arrive at work on time and have own transportation to work.
Full time position.

Pay starting at $22+/hr (more $ depending on experience). Must have own hard hat and steel toe boots (earplugs, safety glasses and gloves are provided). A yearly β€œboot allowance” is provided.
Drug testing required. Benefits available include medical, life insurance and a retirement plan.

A long, long time ago - a bunch of people got together and decided to take a stand against an overbearing, overtaxing government... and declared in writing why they will no longer tolerate it and declared their independence from that government and formed their own. In 1776, the Declaration of Independence was born - resulting in the birth of a new nation and government. Take time today to read a copy of that Declaration - you may find many similarities to the predictament our society now faces.

Day 2 of bringing some of the feral cat population in as part of a Trap and Release program. The shelters are full and rescues are overcrowded. Spaying and neutering your cats and dogs is the responsible thing to do. Please consider visiting the shelter and bringing home some of the animals they have today.

The Trap and Release program for cats involves setting up traps within a colony and trapping the feral cats, fixing them, cutting the tip of their ear (this is a quick visual indication that the cat has been fixed in the event it is trapped again) and then they heal up. At that point, the cats are released back into the same area they were caught in - so they can continue chasing the mice and critters they run amongst. Huge thanks to the Pet Angel Foundation!
