Do you know the real story behind this year's HardyVille Haunt ? The nightmare has been building in our town for years...
The Pendulum Asylum started out on the lonely stretches of Highway 95. Cops use to drop off sun-crazed drifters at the facility ran by Dr. Pendulum called "The Asylum". But they weren't getting treatment. Deep in the basement, a mad scientist named Dr. Thaddeus Archibald was using them as test subjects to pry open the doors to other dimensions.
The madness didn't stay in the Asylum. Thaddeus infiltrated the local high school as a chemistry teacher, while his son—the twisted Ringmaster—set up a creepy carnival next to the school. While the students were distracted by the clowns and games of the "Freak Show", the Ringmaster was quietly kidnapping them. Only to be mutated into a spectacle of twisted flesh in his father's lab.
By the time the cops raided the carnival, it was too late. A catastrophic chemical reaction had happened at the school. Ripping a dimensional void wide open causing flesh-eating fungus to take over the school. The town put a fence around the school and locked it down. As the police apprehended the Ring Master he let out a curse, shattering all the lights in the parking lot. From that day forward the town dubbed the rotting campus "Hexed High."
We thought the fence would keep the people from going in. But we were wrong. They already in. A captive just crawled out of the Void with a chilling message from The Ringmaster.
I did get arreseted that night but I vanished before the cops hit the 95. I've been in hiding in the Void beneath the school this whole time. Perfecting the HardyVille Haunt. Now a tear in reality is about to open, and you're invited to step in.
The Void is not a show you attend. It is a place in the Hardyville Mud that wants you. And it already knows you're coming.
