🚨 GREASE + DRAINS = TROUBLE 🚨

This week we tackled a major backup at a local apartment building-the culprit? Grease poured down the drains over time, until the whole system was completely blocked. 😬

PSA to our OBX neighbors: never pour grease down your drains! Even small amounts add up, cool, harden, and trap everything else that follows. Let it cool, toss it in the trash instead.

This one took some serious teamwork to fix. Huge shoutout to our friends at Cyclone Sewer and Drain Cleaning, Trapper Gibbs and his crew jumped in with us to get the water flowing again. 💪

Sometimes it really does take a village out here on the Outer Banks to keep things running smoothly. We're grateful for partners like Cyclone Sewer and Drain Cleaning!

From dated tub to a full custom shower 🚿✨

Check out this transformation, we gutted this old fiberglass tub/shower combo and built it into a fully custom shower, including a framed-out recessed shelf (no more shampoo bottles crowding the corner). New surround, new matte black shower system, clean lines from top to bottom.

If your shower is still looking like the “before” pic… now’s the time to get on our books. 👷‍♂️

🔧 Plumbing: part skill, part problem solving… part “how are we getting THAT out of THERE?” 😂

This water heater was tucked into a tiny loft with no easy way out. So our guys had to get creative, including cutting the old tank apart just to remove it.

Being a good plumber isn’t just knowing how to turn a wrench. You have to be flexible, think on your feet, and sometimes come up with Plan B… C… or D.

Just another day for The Gentleman Plumber. 💪🔧

We’re excited to share that our work at the iconic Nags Head Fishing Pier is officially complete! 🎣🌊

Dave and Jeremy led the way on this project, but it was truly a team effort. Just about every plumber on our crew had the opportunity to spend some time out there and play a part in restoring a landmark that means so much to the Outer Banks.

There’s something special about working on a place with this much history-one that locals and visitors have been making memories at for generations. We’re proud that The Gentleman Plumber got to be a small part of bringing it back to life.

A huge shoutout to Dave, Jeremy, and the entire crew for the hard work and craftsmanship that went into this one. 👏🔧

We can’t wait to see the Nags Head Fishing Pier welcoming everyone back! 🎣🌅

We’re excited to welcome Ryan to The Gentleman Plumber team! We asked him a few questions so everyone could get to know him a little better.

🏠 Local roots: Ryan is a Manteo High School Class of 2019 graduate and went on to graduate from Western Carolina University in 2024.

🔧 What he enjoys about plumbing:
Every job brings a new challenge and a new opportunity to learn, problem-solve, and grow in the trade.

🛻 When he’s not working:
You’ll probably find Ryan tinkering with his truck.

🚐 What surprised him about The Gentleman Plumber:
Our vans! He says they’re basically “a plumbing shop on wheels.” Having everything needed right there and accessible makes tackling each job that much easier.
