Kilgore College Instrumentation & Electrical Technology Program This is an exciting new program at KC for students interested in training to become an electrical instrumentation technician. All classes are taught in Kilgore.

We offer a 60-hour associate’s degree and a 30-hour certificate. Instrumentation and Electrical Technology students learn how to install, maintain and calibrate devices used in the automation of industrial processes. These devices measure and control the pressure, temperature, level and flow of processes used in automated manufacturing and production. Students also utilize piping process, chemical

pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, computer and networking technologies. A degree or certificate is usually necessary to work as an electrical instrumentation technician.
