💧 When It Rains, It Floods… 💧
Even a slight pitch in concrete can make a major difference. With hurricane season officially here, this is your reminder that proper concrete pitch matters.

This is a perfect example of what happens when concrete is originally poured without proper slope for drainage. Rainwater should run away from your structure, not straight into it. But here, it’s pooling at the door, forcing the homeowner to line up sandbags just to keep the water out.

If your garage, carport, or patio floods every time it rains, it might be time to rework the pitch or consider concrete resurfacing solutions.

📍Caribbean Drive, Key Largo - Project Progress: From Dock to Driveway

After completing the dock recoloring, and resealing the carport and pool deck last week, we’re now moving into the driveway overlay and stamping phase.

We’ve cut out space for artificial turf and are laying down a custom coral texture overlay using high-quality decocrete materials. The final look will tie the whole property together with clean lines and a natural, coastal finish.

Stay tuned for the reveal—this is one of our favorite transformations yet!

Progress Update from Caribbean Dr in Key Largo!
The dock is looking stunning in its new Dolphin Gray finish with Rock Gray EZ-Tique—a cooler, cleaner surface that’s easier on the feet and eyes.

Yesterday, we also cleaned and sealed the pool deck to bring out the natural texture and protect the surface for seasons to come. The tape’s still on for now, but we’re capturing every step of this transformation.

More photos to come once we pull everything together—this one’s going to be a showstopper!

Big changes coming to Caribbean Dr in Key Largo!
We’ve officially kicked off a full-surface upgrade:
🚙 Driveway: Removing stamped overlay and replacing it with a clean, modern layout featuring artificial grass in between new concrete slabs
💦 Carport & Pool Patio: Washed, prepped, and sealed for a refreshed finish
🚤 Dock: Switching to a lighter Dolphin Gray with Rock Gray EZ-Tique to keep things cool and coastal

Day 1 is in the books! This material threw us a challenge, but we’re taking it one layer at a time.
