There are more than 350 options, from sheer to opaque: textures, prints, patterns and some exclusive fabrics you won't find anywhere else. Want a clean linen look? It's in there. A bold pattern for the powder room? Also in there. Something that disappears into a white wall and lets the view do the talking? Plenty of those.

Meet Silhouette Halo from Hunter Douglas. It has the same soft fabric vanes floating between two sheers that you already love, plus a few upgrades we're a little nerdy about.

The vanes are double layered now, so the color looks just as good from the street as it does from your couch. They also over-rotate, turning past where the classic version stops. That means better control over low, sideways sun. (If you've ever squinted across your living room in February with sun bouncing off fresh snow, you get it.)
When it's closed, there's no exposed bottom rail. Just fabric, top to bottom. Clean.
Need light filtering and room darkening in the same shade? Add DuoLite. Would you rather never touch it at all? It works with PowerView automation, so your shades can keep up with the sun for you.

Fifty Shades of Shades, Episode Six: all of the shades. Here are some of the most common shades we work with and why.

Luminette is our go-to for big glass and sliding doors. It's a sheer with soft fabric vanes that turn to let you go from full view to full privacy, and it handles harsh light better than anything.

Vignette is a modern Roman shade, so you get those soft folds without any cords hanging around. Clean and tailored.

Provenance woven woods and Alta's natural wovens are all about texture. Real bamboo, reeds, grasses. They warm up a room the way flat fabric just can't.

Duette honeycombs are the workhorses. The cells trap air right at the glass, so they actually help with insulation, which matters a lot in a valley that gets this cold.

And rollers are the simple, clean option when you just want good light control and nothing fussy.
