We had a company come out to look at our AC and told us it needed to be replaced. We called Kerr County AC & Heating Services for a second opinion and they came out the same day, repaired the issue, explained everything as he was working, and had really reasonable prices. Trust us to always break it down for you😂. And today we’re breaking down something we see many homeowners get confused about…

👉 “My AC is running all day, so something must be wrong.”

Not necessarily!

When temperatures start climbing into the Texas summer range, it’s completely normal for your AC to run longer than it does in the spring.

The difference is this:

✅ Running longer to maintain your set temperature = Normal

❌ Running constantly and still NOT reaching your set temperature = Time to get it checked

If your thermostat says 72° but your house is stuck at 78°, your system is trying to tell you something.

The sooner you address it, the better your chances of avoiding a breakdown during the hottest part of summer.
