Designing for the Hill Country Lifestyle: The Multi-Family Retreat 🪵✨

We don’t just design standard single-family homes. Out here in the Texas Hill Country, many of our clients are looking to build a shared space—a weekend getaway where generations can gather under one roof.

Take a look at Model 2239, a gorgeous home we designed specifically as a multi-family retreat:

🏡 The Grand Commons: The center of the home features a massive, open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. It’s the ultimate central hub for the whole family to cook, eat, and spend time together.
😴 Privacy: We mapped out three distinct master suites on separate wings of the home. Each adult couple gets their own private sanctuary and porch access to unwind.
🎉 The Ultimate Bunk Room: A dedicated bunk room with built-in queen/twin bunk beds gives all the younger kids their own fun zone to stay and create memories together.

Ever thought about how many steps you take just doing daily chores? A great home design does the walking for you.

Take a look at the right-wing layout in our Model 2311. We designed this specific "circular flow" to make daily life seamless:

🛒 The Grocery Drop: Pull into the garage, step into the entry hall, and you’re immediately at the Butler’s Pantry. No hauling heavy bags through the entire house.
🧺 The Laundry Loop: Come home from work, walk through the utility room directly into the Master Walk-In Closet to drop off clothes, and head straight into the Master Suite.
☕ The Morning Routine: Wake up, walk from the Master Bedroom into the kitchen for coffee, and the loop starts all over again.
