The Thompsons are home ♥️

On the morning of July 4th, the Thompsons woke to evacuation orders as floodwaters began rising around their home. Corbin, a firefighter, immediately went on shift, helping with rescue and response efforts across the community. At the same time, Katy spent the day at The Arcadia, which had quickly become a reunification point, answering phone calls and helping log names of families searching for loved ones - all while their own home was taking on water.

Today, we’re so happy to share that the Thompsons are officially back home.

A huge thank you to the Jeff Foxworthy Foundation, Josh Abbott Band, Catholic Charities, and Hill Country Community Foundation and Brittany Lehman for making this possible.

Even after the darkest days, hope has a way of finding its way back in through healing, rebuilding, and showing up for one another.

In love with this burgundy and pink wallpaper!

From the beginning we knew we wanted wainscoting and wallpaper in the Guadalupe powder bath. We ended up with a vibrant, retro take on traditional design.

For the wainscot, we had Benjamin Moore customize Arroyo Red to perfectly match the burgundy in this wallpaper from 😍

had the perfect black and white basketweave tile for the floor and brought it all together with the scalloped, milk glass sconce above the mirror.

The best remodels don’t erase a home’s history, they highlight it.

Our Englewood kitchen was transformed with rich green cabinetry, handmade tile, custom copper shelving, and seamless panel-ready appliances, while the original vaulted ceiling became the star of the show with freshly painted white beams that brighten the entire space and highlight the original Latilla laid wood.

A 1950’s revival for the cutest little girl’s bathroom!

After our client, Katie, showed us her Pinterest board for their daughter’s bathroom we had one thing to say… YES! From the tile checkered walls to the wall-mounted sink, we had to go full retro and thanks to Vintage Bath & Home we were able to bring this vision to life.

Jk, we have made up our minds!

For this stunning historic Fredericksburg home, we wanted every design choice to feel intentional and rooted in the home’s story.

The primary shower will feature classic marble tile that beautifully complements the original stone walls, creating a timeless and elegant look. And the colorful mosaic sample is going on the shower floor 😍

For the guest shower, we chose the sweetest Delft-inspire tile. A little tribute to Fredericksburg’s German heritage.

This project goes a lot farther than just the shower tile, so stay tuned to see more!
