Honesty and integrity.

Got a call before leaving Church this afternoon from a Customer in Colfax with no water, on a well.

Showed up to diagnose, turned out the pump has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Bad news is it's 455 feet deep, alot more than I can pull by hand, especially by myself on a Sunday afternoon.

Made a couple phone calls and got her set up with another Plumbing Company that was willing to reschedule their Monday morning schedule to make it work.

Charged her $0 for an after hours call since I wouldn't be able to solve her problem today and gave her information to get it taken care of tomorrow.

Honesty and Integrity, its what we strive for here. Even if that means going with someone else.

Last year on October 14th, 2025 we co sponsored an event to remember Charlie Kirk with Sunshine Creations Co. in Kernersville.

We've been asked to help facilitate again this year with bringing people to Jesus here in Kernersville.

5 people got baptized last year and we had about 500 people show up at Harmon Park.

This year, we're looking to see if the community would be interested again in bringing people together to share Jesus.

The focus, and Title of this event will be, "Make Heaven Crowded 2026."

If you're interested, please share your interest on this post.

This will be a non political event, aiming to bring people who have thought about giving their lives to Christ a place to do so without pressure or passing judgment.

All are welcome to attend, if enough interest is shown, I'll provide as many baptism pools as necessary to accommodate.

To Kernersville, he might be one of the favorite plumbers in the area, but to us, he's so much more. Patriot's Choice Plumbing is currently closed, through Sunday, August 9th. We are going on our BIG family summer vacation cruise before the kids go back to school, and will reopen on Monday, August 10th, at 9am. We will have limited service throughout the trip.

Another PSA!!

Beware of people or companies who "do plumbing" and can "fix your issues for half the price of a plumbing company."

I've seen it all over Facebook today, everyone is a plumber until you have to file an insurance claim and the insurance company wants the Plumber's State license number.......

Cheap is cheap and professional is professional, don't fall for the scams and unlicensed, uninsured.

Ways of getting water to flush toilets during a water outage:

1. From Dehumidifiers, if you run one in your house and have to dump it, use that water to flush.
2. Rain collection barrels if you have them.
3. A friend or family member with a well.
4. Gathering water from creeks, or other bodies of water. *At your own risk for this one, I'm not advising you to trespass or steal in any fashion*

Don't drink, or bathe in any water that may be unsafe. This post is to generate ideas to get water to flush toilets and not intended for any other purpose.

Don't leave a faucet on to know when the water comes back. If you have a slow drain and it overflows, you're doing more harm than good.

I'm seeing people arguing on Facebook about why we have no water, at the end of the day it's being addressed and will be restored. What does arguing about something you can't control solve?

Reminds me of when I was in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sometimes we'd go several days without any water to shower except bottled water because the resupply truck was blown up in transit.

I'm thankful to raise my family in the greatest country on earth, I'm thankful I woke up this morning and my kids and wife are healthy. I'm thankful to have a business where when things like this happen, people trust me to reach out for advice. I'm thankful.

WSFC Utilities Water Service Alert ⚠️

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities customers on the eastern side of Forsyth County may experience low water pressure or temporary interruptions in water service due to a water main break.

The affected 24-inch water main is a critical component of the water distribution system. WSFC Utilities staff is aware of the situation and working diligently to make repairs. This outage is not related to any water shutoff projects previously scheduled for today.

WSFC Utilities understands the inconvenience this may cause and appreciates customers’ patience as crews respond to this urgent infrastructure issue. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
