I attempted bread today. Sandwich bread.
Rediscovering life as gluten free and moving our family away from processed foods (as much as possible).
It doesnt always happen on the 1st try. So for the next few days ill be cutting off burnt crust and using lots of home made butter 😅

Alot of people aren't sure where to start a homesteading journey. I include myself in that statement.
I was determined to do something different. So I jumped in with chickens. Looking back now I would have done it differently.
I would have started with berries, trees, and rabbits.
But you cant change the past.
So here we are elbows deep in what we have, projects, always learning and changes.
So today we expand our fencing to protect our berries.
Tomorrow will bring some type of curve ball and thats okay, because thats what its about.
