This Midwest bathroom underwent a major overhaul to take it from a 1970s style to a clean, classic look appropriate for an early-1900s home. The cabinets on the wall opposite the vanity were cut by the contractor to fit precisely against a slanted ceiling, allowing the homeowner to utilize space beneath the eaves of the house.

The kitchen base cabinets are rift sawn white oak. The kitchen upper cabinets and full-height cabinet are painted. All kitchen cabinets feature a pillowed-edge face.

Bathroom cabinets are high-gloss metallic black acrylic.

The Luxe Barkitecture live charity auction benefited Brigadoon Service Dogs, a Bellingham-based organization that trains dogs to provide assistance to veterans, children, and adults with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and traumatic brain injuries.

This unique dog bed is 12th Man approved and features glass mosaic Seahawk sides, neon green LED lighting, and a doggy supply storage drawer.

Notes: The bar is a combination of brushed stainless steel and a product from Chemetal, a U.S. manufacturer of metal designs and metal laminates. It's called Reptillian #217 -- an aluminum made to look like copper.
