The "Welcome To Kent" / Joe Walsh Mural was completed in June 2015 and hand painted by Scot Phillips of 25th & Lincoln Mural and Design Company with the help of Erin Meyers. Joe Walsh's musical notoriety started right here in Kent, OH and he has continued to keep in touch with many of his close friends in the area and has returned for numerous concerts, events, and charitable endeavors over the ye

ars. Kent, Ohio has a rich musical history that deserves to be celebrated! Special Thanks to Main Street Kent for their financial contribution, to Metis Construction for use of the scaffolding, and to Patrick Shanley for his prep work to get the space ready to paint. We're excited to celebrate one of our own and contribute what we hope to be an iconic image synonymous with entering downtown Kent for decades to come.
