More than 140 golfers came together for a day of friendly competition, great conversations, and connection at our annual Employee Golf Tournament.

Recently, Hermanson Company welcomed more than 400 attendees of the Stratus Innovate Conference for a behind-the-scenes look at our Sheet Metal and Pipe Division Shops.

Throughout the tour, visitors rotated through interactive stations featuring equipment such as our spiral machine and laser cutter while learning how Hermanson leverages advanced fabrication technology, integrated production planning, and digital workflows to support successful project delivery.

Guided by Hermanson subject matter experts, attendees experienced firsthand how our people, processes, and technology come together to support fabrication and field operations. The tour also provided many visitors with their first opportunity to see our newly opened Pipe Division Shop.

As a Stratus technology partner since 2019, we were proud to showcase the innovation, expertise, and collaboration that drive our work every day.

After nearly 10 years as a machinist, Chad Smith made a career change that would shape the next 20 years of his life.

Today, Chad serves as a Plumbing Foreman on Hermanson's Special Projects team, where he enjoys the challenges, problem-solving, and variety that come with the work.

Two years ago, the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion opened its doors, becoming a key part of Seattle's revitalized waterfront.

Hermanson led the project's mechanical scope, helping bring to life a space that continues to welcome visitors, support education, and foster community connection.

Reflecting on the project's lasting impact, Brian Morant, who served as Project Executive during construction of the Ocean Pavilion, shared:

"The Ocean Pavilion is more than an aquarium expansion. It's become a destination that enhances Seattle's waterfront, supports tourism, and creates opportunities for community engagement."

A new chapter for fabrication at Hermanson Company!

We officially opened the doors to Hermanson’s new Pipe Division Shop with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new facility features more than 81,000 square feet of fabrication space and a 33,000-square-foot pipe yard, expanding our capacity to support projects through the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life and would also like to thank Stratus for joining us as we celebrate this exciting milestone.

Employees across Hermanson recently donated snacks, personal care items, and other essentials through a Care Package Drive organized by the Veterans of Hermanson (VOH).

Together, those contributions filled eight large boxes that will be sent to Operation Shoebox for distribution to deployed service troops.
