Thankfully we use some STRONG rigging rope! 😳🌳

Handling an emergency job in Brady Lake today, I made the mistake of nicking one of our rigging ropes after the limb came free. Luckily, there was still enough of the strong interior core holding together to keep everything under control — but not much!

We were able to quickly cut the tips off the fence to prevent any further damage, then slowly and safely lower the remaining cherry log down and out of the maple tree.

A good reminder that accidents can happen to anyone, which is why it’s important to hire a fully insured tree service company. Thankfully, the rope was in good condition, and no mistakes were made here — everyone stayed safe and the job was brought under control without any additional damage. 💪

This is one rig I’m really going to miss. 🥲

I traded this truck for my blown-up 2014 Powerstroke last year, and from the day I got it, she never skipped a beat. Without a doubt, one of the most reliable trucks I’ve ever owned and put to work.

But big things are coming for Collier Tree Service, and sometimes moving forward means making some tough changes.

When the right offer came along, we decided it was time to let the 12V go and put that money toward moving the company in a new direction.

It’s bittersweet watching a reliable rig leave the fleet, but we’re excited about what’s next. Maybe by Monday, we’ll have a few new surprises to show you. 👀
