One of our recent BAMS experiences.

“BAM's was incredibly efficient from start to finish. Our flower beds were overgrown with all the worst sorts of weeds and random plants, and filled with leaves from years past. My wife and I had always planned to get to it ourselves, but work and family always came first. So, we finally sought help, and BAM's was great. Another landscaper wanted 500 - 1000 dollars just to consult and draw a pretty picture of what our yard \*could\* look like. Then I reached out to BAM's. Initially I reached out just about the front and side yards and sent them pictures. They offered me quote based on what I wanted done (spring cleanup and mulch installation), and I accepted. They quickly got me scheduled and when the day came, they did just an amazingly efficient job (much, much faster than I ever thought possible) and a very thorough one (it wasn't just fast, it was well done). The three guys who did the work were just incredibly friendly and professional, and did the beds in the backyard too, much to my very happy surprise (the quote wasn't in fact limited to the front and sides, but I was so overwhelmed with what I thought were the worst parts of the yard, I neglected that fact). My wife can now walk outside without feeling overwhelmed about all there is to do. I would work again with BAM's in a heartbeat.”

A Drought Watch was put into effect On Wednesday, June 3 by the Drought Coordination Committee of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) following unusually dry conditions that are expected to persist despite recent rainfall. The regional Drought Watch applies to nearly six million residents across the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

Thoughts and prayers to this company in Rockville.

Unfortunately, we will most likely see more of these situations arise as batteries are used in commercial applications.

Safely storing, transporting, and charging of mass quantities of batteries can be quite the undertaking. Even with proper storage/ temperature regulation (can’t be too hot or cold) and charging methods there will be fires like this in garages, trailers, sheds, trucks, and possibly offices. Many companies are also running gas generators in their trailers to keep batteries charged (ironic right?!) which adds more of a safety (fumes) and fire risk to the equation.

With the adoption of more and more battery powered tech, we want to remind everyone of the dangers as well the importance or proper disposal of all old or defective lithium batteries. They need to be taken to the nearest disposal center (fires have happened here) and do not throw directly in your trash can (trash trucks also have caught on fire).
