Five years ago we took a leap of faith and started Smart Concrete as a small family business.

Before that, Alfredo spent 22 years working in commercial concrete for other companies, learning the trade and gaining the experience that today stands behind every project we complete.

Over the years we’ve met incredible homeowners, worked on many driveways, patios, and slabs across the Tri-Cities, and learned something new with every project.

We are truly grateful for every family that has trusted us with their homes.

Every project needs supervision… and during the preparation stage of this one, we had a very dedicated little inspector on site. 🐱

He showed up every day to make sure the crew was doing things right — especially when the work got close to the house.

By the time the project was finished, our supervisor had disappeared and never came back. Hopefully he just moved on to inspect another job somewhere. 😄

Plot twist: This kitty isn’t the homeowner’s pet. He’s a local feral cat who usually doesn’t let anyone grab him. But with the freezing weather we've had lately, he decided Fred and Freddy are his official heated seats! ❄️🔥

The problem? He’s officially holding us hostage. Every time we try to put him down to get back to work, the claws come out! 🔪🐾 I guess we now offer "Feline-Assisted Finishing" in Kennewick.

We might be tough concrete guys, but it looks like we’ve been chosen. 🤜🤛

We showed up to work in Tri-Cities and the homeowner’s cat decided he was the Lead Project Manager. 🐈‍⬛🛠️

He climbed up to make sure the foundation was level and stayed there all day. Talk about strict quality control! I think he’s a human contractor in a past life. 😂
