This is a thank you letter, of sorts, to all the people who have helped in the past year to make my flower farm dream a reality. I wanted to post last month, but I was afraid I would unintentionally leave someone out. If it’s you, I am truly sorry! Thank you, God, for giving me a dream that seemed impossible. You are so generous and kind. My mom and my boys have had to put up with a lot - from moving and leaving our amazing neighbors of 13 years to selling the house to the very demanding physical labor of getting everything up and running. Many early mornings, many late nights, and many days of me spending the entire day outside while they managed inside. Taylor Pounds got the ball rolling with plans, and the way the farm looks now is pretty much how he drew it. Shahin Yazdanyar installed the security cameras as well as some indoor projects before we moved in to make our home safe on a busy road. Academy Roofing installed a beautiful new roof. Jimmy Tidwell Tidwell Trees brought his stellar crew, including Kent, and cleared everything on the property and expertly graded it. Rob Herrero Rob Herrero has worked on my projects for years and again delivered perfection with the irrigation system, lighting, and concrete. Will Underwood and his brother Kirk made beautiful gates that really make the farm feel like a farm. (cont’d in comments)
