We started doing concrete work 34 years ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma. John worked for a coring testing company, going out to the commercial sites to test their concrete. He watched the process and decided he would much rather be pouring the concrete than testing it. So without saying anything, he switched jobs and joined the concrete mason's union as an apprentice. He loved it from the start -- and worked his way up to being a full-fledged cement mason.
