Mowed 1 wk ago…Helping my neighbor rent out their house over the last few weeks. Prior tenants kept their Bermuda grass extremely tall (which is partly the reason the grass blades are brown)…so we’ve gradually lowered it (the 1st cut was 4.5” and the 2nd biweekly cut was 3”-3.5”). B/c the hills & dips, I think 3” is as low as this yard can handle to prevent unsightly scalping/bare spots…I didn’t have time to mow it one more time before the new tenants moved in but I was able to: reduce the height of all hedges by 50% and shape them into individual shrubs, and add four bales of long needle pine straw for some color and curb appeal…I think it looks much better, I’m still mad I couldn’t squeeze in 1 more cut but the new tenants can handle it from here since it’s only been a week. I’ll likely reach out if there son can’t get to it.
