Confidential Request for Information – Reward Up to $50,000
February 20, 2026
Dear friends and former colleagues in the movable-wall and partitions industry, I am working to establish a precise, documented timeline of when individuals inside or closely connected to Hufcor first became aware of the company’s plan to relocate the majority of its manufacturing operations to Mexico.
As many of you know, this relocation was treated as highly confidential by Hufcor’s leadership and its private-equity owner, OpenGate Capital. Senior executives and certain close business associates were required to sign non-disclosure agreements that prohibited discussion of the Mexico project until at least July 2021.
The late Barry Napier—a longtime Hufcor executive and Dick Farabaugh’s close professional colleague for over 30 years (dating back to their time together at Kwik-Wall)—was one of the individuals who, because of his senior role, had detailed knowledge of the Mexico initiative well before it became public. Barry was known in the industry for being very open and communicative with longtime trusted colleagues, which is why establishing exactly when he and others first learned of the plans is so important.
Establishing when this information first reached senior Hufcor personnel and long-standing, trusted business partners who interacted regularly with those executives is important to a private legal matter involving my February 2021 purchase of In/Ex Systems.
Accordingly, I am offering a reward (or rewards) of up to $50,000 in total for previously unknown, verifiable documentation or firsthand testimony that helps establish when individuals at the executive level of Hufcor (or persons in regular contact with them) first learned of the specific plan to move primary manufacturing to Mexico.
Examples of especially helpful evidence:
Emails, texts, memos, meeting notes, calendars, or recordings dated before February 17, 2021 that reference the Mexico relocation project (even if redacted or coded)
Contemporaneous accounts from anyone who heard Barry Napier or any other OpenGate/Hufcor executive discuss the planned move before February 17, 2021
Copies of NDAs or confidentiality agreements related to the Mexico project that show the date they were executed
Reward terms:
Information must be new to me and capable of verification.
Any reward (or rewards) totaling up to $50,000 will be paid only upon successful resolution of my legal matter (settlement or judgment in my favor) and only from the proceeds of that resolution.
All submissions will be kept strictly confidential to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This request is not intended and should not be construed as an accusation of wrongdoing against any individual. It is solely an effort to assemble an accurate historical record of when highly confidential corporate information became known within a small circle of executives and their closest, long-term industry associates.
If you have relevant documents or firsthand knowledge, please contact me directly and confidentially:
