Plot twist: apparently I’m a grow bag gardener now. 😂🥕

When your raised beds are on timeout, you improvise. I’m not letting a little garden reset put my fall planting schedule behind, so carrot succession #1 is officially IN.

And since grow bags and I have some trust issues when it comes to moisture 😅, I’m trying a few things this round to set these babies up for success — including RootMax by GrowMate.

Now we wait for those tiny green sprouts. 🌱

What’s the ONE thing you actually love growing in a grow bag? I may need ideas since apparently this is who I am now. 😂

Our local gardening community lost one hell of a man this week. Anyone who ever met Jimmy Mcgill and shopped Plumeria Insanity Nursery or attended any of his workshops, knows what I mean. Jimmy has taught me so much in the last few years and was the most kind and generous person I know. I will miss his wisdom, his love for plants and gardening and most of all I will miss our field trips. He would text me and say…. “let’s go have us a day” I’m so glad I snapped this pic on our last field trip just last month. He was one of my biggest cheerleaders when I decided to give this garden business a go and I will never forget that.🤗🪴
