Somewhere between the headlamps at 5 and the full sun by 11, this crew basically works through two completely different job sites without ever leaving the one they’re on, because the schedule doesn’t care what time it is, it just wants to keep moving. Request a bid at dacpconstruction.com.

We are proud to have delivered a 40,000 SF slab pour for a mission-critical project where perfection is the only acceptable standard.

For a build of this scale, we arrived fully equipped with 2 Laser Screeds, 3 boom pumps, and 12 power trowels on site. Even though it wasn't necessary to run every machine at once, our standard remains uncompromising. In mission-critical construction, there is no margin for error, and having maximum capacity on site guarantees seamless ex*****on and total jobsite control.

Operating with this level of preparation and technology not only enhances safety but also ensures a finish quality and flatness tolerance that simply can’t be matched by traditional methods.

Not every pour goes exactly as planned, and that’s where a crew shows what it’s made of. At the Algiers Ferry Terminal, the response was quick and calm, with the weather window closing in. Visit dacpconstruction.com to see more of what we build.

From Monday night into Tuesday morning, our crews got to work on a 40,000 SF slab on grade for a mission-critical site. A pour of this scale rewards the groundwork behind it, and that preparation showed from the opening minutes, as the pumps kept concrete flowing through the night. Follow along as we share how this build continues to take shape.

On site at the Ferry Terminal, foreman Sammy catches up with Carlos for a few quick questions.

What did this job teach him that school never could? What safety rule do people take too lightly? And what would he tell himself at eighteen, just starting out in construction? Watch to hear how he answers all three.

Tonight at 1:00 AM we place a 40,000 SF slab on a mission-critical site:

A pour of this size isn’t won at 1 AM. It’s won the day before.

A rebar cage tied at dusk. A saw cut lined up just right. These are the small, specific actions a finished project is built from.

This project didn’t start on the jobsite. It started in our yard.

Our Symons forms weren’t going to make it on time. We had two choices: wait, or figure it out. We figured it out.

We cut, curved, and built our own forms, panel by panel. We fabricated our own rebar. We hauled the material, prepped the ground, compacted, laid out, formed, poured at sunrise, and delivered.

None of it was luck. It was planning when nobody was watching, logistics when everything could have gone wrong, and ex*****on when it mattered most.

Delays don’t define a project. What you do about them does.

Thank you to every man on this crew. Every ring of concrete carries your hands, your sweat, and your pride.

God first, then the work, done right. 🙏🏽
