Another project wrapped up! 🏡🎨

After a roof replacement, these soffits had exposed bare wood that needed to be primed and painted. I masked off the house to protect the existing siding color, applied a separate primer made for bare wood, then painted the front soffits and high side soffits for a clean, finished look.

A lasting paint job starts with the prep. Priming bare wood helps seal the surface and gives the finish paint a solid foundation to bond to—helping protect the wood and reduce premature peeling. Taking the time to do those steps makes a difference!

🔐 LOCKED DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN SECURE.

Just a quick reminder: locking your door k**b alone does not provide the same security as a properly working deadbolt. As this video shows, some locked door k**bs can be opened surprisingly easily.

Take a minute to check your exterior doors. Make sure your deadbolts work properly, your locks and strike plates are tight, and your door hardware isn’t loose, damaged, or worn out.
