Friday Reminder:

Take pride in what you put your name on.

At the end of the day, our work is a reflection of us. Whether it’s something people see every day or infrastructure that will be underground for decades, the same standard should apply.

Do work you’re proud to call yours.

Have a safe and enjoyable Holiday weekend!

Safety is at the foundation of everything we do.

At Snyder Environmental Services, we take safety seriously - because the most important part of every project is making sure our people go home safe at the end of the day.

From ongoing training and proper PPE to jobsite planning, communication, and staying aware of the conditions around us, working safely takes commitment from everyone on the team.

The work our crews perform every day comes with real responsibility. That’s why safety isn’t something we simply check off a list. It’s something we continue to learn, practice, and reinforce across every crew and every jobsite.

We’re proud of the quality of work our teams deliver, and just as proud of the commitment they make to doing that work safely.

Our work doesn’t always end when the underground work is complete.

Our paving crew helps put the finishing touches on our projects, restoring surfaces and making sure the job is completed with the same attention to quality from start to finish.

From utility and infrastructure work below ground to the finished surface above, having these capabilities in-house helps keep projects moving and allows us to provide a more complete solution for our customers.

It’s another part of what we do and another crew we’re proud to have representing Snyder.

Great work by our paving crew!👏

Quality work doesn’t just come from the finished product. It comes from the planning, the teamwork, the experience, and the attention to detail that goes into every step along the way.

Taking pride in the little things is what makes a difference in the bigger picture.

Here’s to another week of getting the job done right. Have a great weekend!

Yesterday, we were proud to celebrate the completion of the Wardensville Infrastructure Improvement Project at the ribbon-cutting ceremony in Wardensville, West Virginia.

Snyder Environmental Services worked alongside the Town of Wardensville and engineers from RK&K to complete significant upgrades to the town’s wastewater treatment facility and sewer infrastructure.

The project included the construction of new chemical feed/process control and screening buildings, installation of new treatment equipment and automated controls, new lagoon aerators and a backup generator, replacement of aging piping and valves throughout the plant, and rehabilitation of sewer manholes across town to help reduce groundwater infiltration.

These improvements transformed an aging system that was working to keep pace with regulatory requirements into a more reliable and efficient system with room to support Wardensville’s future growth.

Projects like this are a great example of the impact infrastructure work has beyond the jobsite. Reliable water and wastewater systems are essential to protecting communities, supporting growth, and providing dependable service for years to come.

A special shoutout to Lisa Miller, Project Manager, and Don Duriez, Project Superintendent, who represented Snyder Environmental Services at yesterday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. We’re proud of their work and the entire team that helped bring this project to completion.

Thank you to the Town of Wardensville, RK&K, and everyone involved in making this project a success. We’re proud to have played a part in an investment that will serve the Wardensville community well into the future.

A closer look at one of Snyder Environmental Services’ core trenchless capabilities: Horizontal Boring & Jacking.

Since 1979, Snyder Environmental Services has provided trenchless construction services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, completing underground crossings in a wide variety of ground conditions.

Our experienced bore crews have successfully completed crossings ranging from 4" to 60" beneath highways, railroads, streams, wetlands, buildings, high-pressure gas mains, protected trees, and other structures - all while minimizing disruption to the surface above.

Snyder Environmental typically operates multiple bore crews, each equipped with the tools and specialized equipment needed to complete projects safely and efficiently. We also have Certified Welder credential holders on each of our bore crews and maintain an extensive fleet of company-owned boring, jacking, tunneling, and support equipment.

Our capabilities include:

• Conventional Horizontal Boring & Jacking through dirt and rock
• Steered Pilot Tube Boring using a Guided Boring Machine (GBM)
• Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) jacking
• Mechanized tunneling using a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM)
• Rock boring using Robbins SBU disc cutter heads
• Cement grouting of annular spaces between carrier pipes and casings
• Pneumatic ground piercing for small service lines
• Service line installation using the TT Technologies GrundoPit system
• Pipe Bursting
• Slip Lining

Our experienced crews understand the equipment, ground conditions, and challenges that come with underground construction. We take pride in the work we complete and, in our ability, to work through challenging conditions to deliver quality results on every project.

It’s another part of what makes Snyder Environmental Services a trusted partner for underground infrastructure projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
